Hanna Korvela Design was created in 1994, when the young textile designer Hanna Korvela realised her first Duetto rug. Already in 1997 the Duetto rug made of paper yarn and cotton tricot received the highly appreciated Der Rote Punkt design prize.
Sensing and understanding the customers’ needs is the company’s leading principle. In addition to rugs and carpets, Hanna Korvela Design produces for example sauna textiles and table setting accessories. The company works in close cooperation with architects and interior decorators and realises comprehensive, tailor-made interior design and art works for both private homes and public premises.
Duetto Rugs: Hand woven cotton-paper yarn rug This modern and clean-cut rug made of cotton, tricot and paper yarn reflects the harmonic color scale of nature. Strong solid and lush by nature, with a geometric and 3-dimensional surface. This rug does not make dust, and it is durable and recyclable.
In 1997 Duetto received the prestigious Der Rote Punkt design award and has since gained success throughout the world. Duetto rug has right to use the Finnish Allergy and Asthma Association’s symbol.
Encore Rugs: Woven cotton-paper yarn rug. Encore rug is the light and lucid sister of Duetto rug. Encore works well both on its own and together with Duetto that uses the same materials.

Minore Rugs: Hand woven wool-paper yarn rug. Minore is minimalistic, clean, and dignified wool carpet. It leaves room for background, furniture and other decor. Minore’s smooth surface is restrained but warm, the tones are peaceful and soft. Material is pure new wool.
