The Aika series was designed by Professor Heikki Orvola, who, among other things, has created the successful Kivi votive for Iittala. The simple and bare pieces of Aika are timeless while the whole series is firmly rooted in today’s world. In a category on their own are the large plates, whose very flat edges are shaped horizontally.
Elegant on its own, Aika is also easily combined with other series such as Teema.
