Floating on air. Tapio Wirkkala’s style is considered to be synonymous with Finnish design. Using his mastery of glass-blowing methods, he captured a single air bubble inside the heavy stem of the Tapio glasses. The bubble now represents the unique, distinctive style, which has become his trademark.
